Rama Navami Celebration
Rama Navami , the appearance anniversary of Lord Rama, is very popular in India where many people are devotees of Lord Ramacandra. Similarly in ISKCON temples where Lord Rama is worshipped many people will gather to celebrate.Lord Rama is the incarnation of Lord Krishna as the perfect monarch. He enacts His lila, or pastime, of killing Ravana and establishing virtue, by personal example, throughout His kingdom. The epic story of His transcendental adventures is told in the scripture Ramayana in which one reads of His unfailing devotion to His wife Sita and Their affectionate dealings with Lord Rama’s many family members, particularly His devoted Brother, Laksmana.

Students from Arizona State University
ASU is the third-largest university campus by student enrollment in the country, with a student body of 51,481 (2007 statistics).
Students regularly call or visit us regarding questions for assignment in their classes. On the average, we receive close to 10 calls or visits per week. And to help them get closer to Radha-Madhava-Hari and have all their questions answered, we have just launched the “ASU Hare Krishna Shuttle” to transport them to and from ASU and the temple each week for the Sunday program!
Also, we will soon begin the “ASU Bhakti Yoga Club” on campus, as well as a regular Prasadam distribution program there.
If you know a student who attends ASU, inform them about these exciting new programs. Or, if you would like to get involved, please let us know.
